Jacqueline Jones (born "Jacquelaine Mary Bannister" on 19th June 1934 in Ealing, London) appeared on Coronation Street in May 1962 as Philippa Scopes, beauty queen and short-term fiancée of Billy Walker.
She joined a music and dancing school at the age of ten, and five years later was a fully-fledged professional dancer. Her big chance was as a dancer with a revue touring Italy.
Her other television credits include Compact, Bootsie and Snudge, Emergency-Ward 10, The Avengers, Court Martial and The Bill.
On film, she appeared in Keep it Clean, Il Grido, Un due tre, Genitori in blue-jeans and Noi duri (credited as "Lynn Shaw"), along with Jungle Street, Pit of Darkness, In the Doghouse, The Road to Hong Kong, Incident at Midnight, The Beauty Jungle and The Intelligence Men.
