Jack Stewart (born 22nd March 1913 in Larkhall, Scotland; died 2nd January 1966 in London) appeared in Coronation Street in August 1965 as social club bartender Joe.
He also appeared in The Appleyards, ITV Television Playhouse, Armchair Theatre, Knight Errant Limited, The Avengers, The Odd Man, The Plane Makers, No Hiding Place, Weavers Green, Dr. Finlay's Facebook and Dixon of Dock Green.
Film roles included Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N., A Case for PC 49 , Stryker of the Yard and Tom Jones.
On stage, he appeared in productions of By Pigeon Post, The Public Prosecutor and Hughie and Others.
