Jack McNaughton (born 22nd December 1905 in Mitcham, Surrey; died 22nd February 1990 in Peterborough) appeared on Coronation Street in April 1963 as bailiff Bill Riding.
At home on the bigger screen, his film credits include Brighton Rock, Brass Monkey, Man on the Run, The Man in the White Suit, High Treason, The Hour of 13, The Pickwick Papers, The Million Pound Note, Father Brown, The Dam Busters, The Camp on Blood Island, Expresso Bongo and The Court Martial of Major Keller.
His other television credits include roles in Boyd Q.C., Murder Bag, No Hiding Place, The Flying Doctor and The Cheaters.
