Jack Lord appeared on Coronation Street in five roles:
- A Weatherfield General-based doctor, who diagnosed Bethany Platt with tonsilitis in September 2001
- PC Hatford, on scene when brothers Andy and Nick Morgan from Sheffield held Katy Harris hostage inside No.6 in April 2003
- Raymond Cummings, small business financial manager at Ciaran McCarthy's bank in August 2004
- A police officer conducting a surveillance operation on a renowned drug dealer and his accomplice in September 2008
- An usher present at Weatherfield Crown Court for the trial of Gail McIntyre between May and June 2010.
He trained at the Arden School of Theatre.
His other credits include roles in North Square, Emmerdale, Cold Feet, Waterloo Road, The Street, Hollyoaks, Eternal Law, Wolfe and Red Rose, along with the 2005 film Pierrepoint.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Hobson's Choice, Absurd Person Singular, The Man Outside, Pictures of Clay, The Wizard of Oz and Reindeer Monologues.
