Jack Deam (born 29th June 1972 in Oldham) appeared on Coronation Street between September 2000 and August 2001 as Phil Simmonds, a man who befriended and ultimately raped Toyah Battersby.
Along with regular roles as Marty Fisher in Shameless and Kev Leach in Clocking Off, he has also been credited for roles in Screenplay, Casualty, Clarissa, The Bill, The Life and Times of Henry Pratt, Heartbeat, Soldier Soldier, Pie in the Sky, Ellington, Hollyoaks, Peak Practice, Where the Heart Is, Queer as Folk, Playing the Field, Holby City, Dalziel and Pascoe, The Inspector Lynley Mysteries, Silent Witness, Life on Mars, Waterloo Road, The Royal, The Street, Doctors, Unforgiven, 32 Brinkburn Street, DCI Banks, Father Brown and Broke.
He also appeared in the TV movies Hillsborough, Spoilt and Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar, short films entitled Floating, The Good North and Hit & Run, and feature films Let Him Have It, The Young Poisoner's Handbook, Heart and London to Brighton.
On stage he has appeared in productions of Harper Regan, Port, Blindsided and Billy Liar.
