Indira Joshi (born 2nd March 1942 in Sagaing, Myanmar) played two minor roles in Coronation Street: firstly as Maya Desai, the aunt of Vikram and Dev Alahan between April and August 2000, and returned to the programme between February 2010 and June 2011 in the role of Grishma - ironically a great aunt of Dev's wife Sunita.
Her other credits include The Gentle Touch, Grange Hill, Superman IV:The Quest for Peace, Grease Monkeys, Holby City, The Kumars at No.42, Emmerdale and EastEnders. In 2003, she appeared in the music video for Gareth Gates' version of Spirit in the Sky.
