Ian Bartholomew
Ian Bartholomew (born 23rd August 1954 in Portsmouth) has appeared on Coronation Street since March 2018 as Geoff Metcalfe.
With an extensive acting CV dating back to the mid-1970s, some of his other television credits include roles in Rumpole of the Bailey, Bergerac, Crown Court, The Professionals, The Darling Buds of May, Perfect Scoundrels, Minder, Wycliffe, Casualty, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, The Bill, Spooks, New Tricks, Heartbeat, Foyle's War, DCI Banks and Marcella.
On the bigger screen he has appeared in the feature films If You Go Down in the Woods Today, Breakout, A Prayer for the Dying, Little Dorrit, Esther Kahn, Eisenstein, Shiner and Denial.
Theatre credits include productions of King Lear, The Crucible, The Iceman Cometh, The Merchant of Venice, Take Flight, Hysteria, Pygmalion, Mogadishu, Guys and Dolls, The Alchemist, Richard III, Mrs Henderson Presents and Half a Sixpence.
