Harry Beety (born 27th December 1920 in Wakefield, died 2001 in Harrogate) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:
- Prosecuting barrister Mr Sanderson at the trial of Jerry Booth for assault in October 1971
- Alec Yardley, Mike Baldwin's business partner at the Graffiti Club in April 1983 and January 1984
- Ship entertainment's booker Ron Rogers in January 1991.
His other credits included roles in The Expert, Holly, Crossroads, How We Used to Live, Emmerdale Farm, Big Deal, Jonny Briggs, The Practice, Children's Ward, The Darling Buds of May and Heartbeat.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Christopher Columbus, The Lion in Winter, The Rivals, Great Expectations, The Ghost Train, Home at Seven and Peril at End House for the Harrogate Theatre Company. Other works include Box and Cox and Room at the Top.
