Grant Burgin appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly in March 2017 as a foreman overseeing building work in Victoria Street; and he returned to the programme intermittently between January 2022 and January 2023 as Teddy Thompkins, father of Leo.
He trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
His other credits include roles in The Bill, Comedy Lab, EastEnders, Casualty, Sea of Souls, Murphy's Law, The Rotters' Club, City Lights, Doctors, Life of Riley, Sugartown, Silent Witness, The Dumping Ground, Trust Me, Holby City, Dark Heart, Secret Life of Boys, Gentleman Jack, Hijack and Grace, along with the films V for Vendetta and Stardust.
On stage, he appeared in productions of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Move Over Mrs Markham, Dear Brutus, The Riots, The Majarajah's Daughter, The Ghost Train, Dick Whittington, Bouncers, The Old Ladies and Kissing Cousins.
