Gordon Rollings (born 17th April 1926 in Batley, Yorkshire; died 7th June 1985 in Bristol) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly as Jim Schofield in March 1961; and he made a return to the programme between May 1964 and December 1965 as Charlie Moffitt, the resident comedian of the Viaduct Sporting Club.

An eclectic international career saw him start as an actor on Israeli radio, narrate the children's animation The Adventures of Parsley, appear as Arkwright (owner of Tonto the dog) in the John Smith's bitter commercial, train as a clown in Paris and appear in small roles in several major films.

His other television parts include roles in That's My Boy, No Hiding Place, The Avengers, Z Cars, Here's Harry, The Plane Makers, Room at the Bottom, Bright's Boffins, The Black Arrow, Sykes, Bootle Saddles and Sharon and Elsie. Film roles include Captain Clegg, an uncredited role in The Beatles' film A Hard Day's Night, along with The Comedy Man, Press for Time, Carry on Doctor, Something to Hide, The Pink Panther Strikes Again and two of the Superman films from the original tetralogy.

On stage, he appeared in productions of Antarctica, The Fire Raisers and Pop Goes The Nightingale.

He was sometimes credited as "Gordon Rawlings".
