Gordon Rollings (17th April 1926 - 7th June 1985) was born in Batley, Yorkshire. Between 1964 and 1965 he played Charlie Moffitt the resident comedian of the Viaduct Sporting Club after an earlier appearance in the programme as Jim Schofield in March 1961. An eclectic international career saw him start as an actor on Israeli radio, narrate the children's animation The Herbs, appear as Arkwright (owner of Tonto the dog) in John Smith's commercial, train as a clown in Paris, and appear in small roles in several major films.

His other television parts include roles in Shadow Squad, No Hiding Place, The Harry Worth Show and The Avengers.

He was sometimes credited Gordon Rawlings.
