Gerard Fletcher is a British stage and screen actor. Born in Sheffield he went on to train at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and completed a 3-year acting course in 1997.
On Coronation Street he has played three minor roles:
- Social Security officer Mr Sparrow in February 1998
- An unnamed Police Officer in February 2007
- Businessman Boyd Rickson intermittently between November 2009 and May 2010.
TV and film credits include episodes of Band of Gold, The Vice, Vincent, Waterloo Road, Poppy Shakespeare, Emmerdale, Spanish Flu: The Forgotten Fallen, The Street, Accused and The Royal. He also narrated on six episodes of the documentary series How to Build...
On stage he has appeared in Roots, The Quest, The Du-x Files, Kiss Me Kate, Twelfth Night and Mother Redcap's Tales of Tempests & Treasure.
