Georgine Anderson (born "Jean Margaret Anderson" on 8th February 1928, died 15th February 2024) appeared on Coronation Street in three roles:

She started her television acting career in the early 1960s and built up an impressive CV of roles, appearing in series such as No Hiding Place, Persuasion, eight episodes of A Family at War for Granada Television, Angels, Love for Lydia, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie for Scottish Television in 1978, Matilda's England, The Woman in White, a role in all six episodes of the 1985 adaptation of Blott on the Landscape, a regular part in Take the High Road, Taggart, Casualty, Century Falls, Midsomer Murders, The Infinite Worlds of H.G. Wells, Whitechapel and her last credit, New Tricks in 2014.

On stage, she appeared in Royal Shakespeare Company productions of Othello, All's Well That Ends Well, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Coriolanus and King Lear. Other works include They Walk Alone, Ring for Catty, Phillida, The Seagull, A Man for All Seasons, The Rivals, Lunch Hour, Double Deceit, Titus Andronicus, The Country Wife, Entertaining Mr Sloane, Cannibal Crackers, Robin Redbreast, Trelawny of the Wells, Ivanov, The Crucible and Alison's House.
