Geoffrey Newland appeared in Coronation Street between December 2021 and September 2022 as Graham Handley, a heart specialist who treated Curtis Delamere, Tim Metcalfe and James Bailey respectively.
He trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and has also appeared in Spooks, Da Vinci's Demons, Doctors, EastEnders, Lola uppochner, Emmerdale, Holby City and Outlander.
Film roles include parts in The Wedding Video, Bait, Hedda, Moon Dogs, Kursk: The Last Mission, Marionette and the shorts Shell Shocked, Grace's Story, Earth to Sky and Sybil.
On stage he has appeared in Romeo and Juliet, Such Tweet Sorrow, Pericles, Massacre at Paris, Macbeth, The Boss of it All, Hedda Gabler and Off The Block.
For four years he was a continuity announcer on ITV.
