Geoffrey Leesley (born 1st June 1949 in Manchester) appeared on Coronation Street in two roles: firstly between July and August 1978 as labourer Tommy Cox; and he returned to the programme in both June 2002 and February 2004 as Gordon Clegg - briefly stepping into the role from Bill Kenwright.
He also appeared in Declan is Very Big, an episode of the Coronation Street spin-off The Brothers McGregor, transmitted in August 1988.
His other television credits include roles in Emmerdale Farm, Crown Court, Fox, The Talisman, Bergerac, Casualty, Floodtide, The Bill, Waterfront Beat, Brookside, The Chief, The Liver Birds, EastEnders, Holby City, Little Britain, Doctors, White Heat and the regular role of Geoff Travis in Albion Market from 1985 to 1986.
Film roles include If You Go Down in the Woods Today, The Frontline, Second Best, Wilde, Ashes and Sand, Wimbledon and Ferryman.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Arms and the Man, Equus, The Provok'd Wife, Road, King John, The Merry Wives of Windsor, The Seagull, The Madras House, Diana of Dobson's, De Montford, The Crucible and The Thunderbolt.
He is married to actress Maggie Ollerenshaw, who herself appeared on Coronation Street in two roles.
