Geoffrey Brightman (born 7th May 1926 in Northampton, died 10th July 1986 in Leatherhead, Surrey) played four parts in Coronation Street in the 1960s:
- A Milkman in January 1961.
- Tom Russell, an old colleague of Ivan Cheveski in December 1962.
- Car park attendant Mike Ridehalgh in May 1967.
- The Lorry Driver who stopped and assisted when Len Fairclough's van broke down in September 1967.
He was credited in other 1960s television series including The Man in Room 17, Spindoe, Mr. Rose and The Contenders.
He appeared in several stage productions for Salisbury Playhouse, including Charley's Aunt, Richard II, There's a Girl in My Soup, The Real Inspector Hound, Sweeney Todd, The Merchant of Venice, Robinson Crusoe, The Love of Four Colonels and A Man for All Seasons. Other works include Fun and Games, Henry V, Mother Courage and her Children, Grup, Pygmalion, Under Milk Wood, The Importance of Being Earnest, Travesties and Dracula.
