Gabrielle Daye (born 2nd October 1911 in Manchester, died 5th January 2005 in Redbridge, Essex) appeared intermittently in Coronation Street as Beattie Pearson, Albert Tatlock's daughter, from January 1961 to May 1984.

Her television career began in 1948 working for the BBC at Alexandra Palace and she appeared in several episodes of Emergency-Ward 10, Crown Court and Play for Today, as well as single episodes of Z Cars, Public Eye, All Creatures Great and Small, Survivors, and Juliet Bravo and many other productions. She also appeared in all three episodes of the 1968 Tony Warren-scripted drama The War of Darkie Pilbeam. Apart from her role in Coronation Street she will be best remembered for her regular role in twenty-one episodes of Bless me, Father as Mrs Pring, the long-term sparring partner and house keeper of Father Duddleswell, played by Arthur Lowe, from 1978 to 1981.

On film, she played parts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and 10 Rillington Place. Stage roles included parts in The Waltz of Toreadors, The Daughter-In-Law, A Shorter Back To Methusalah and many plays in a repertoire season for the National Theatre at the Old Vic Theatre in London from January to December 1974.

She was sometimes credited as Gabrielle Day.
