Freddie Edwards was a barbers shop in Weatherfield owned by Rachel Healy.
As Nick Tilsley and David Platt were due to open Trim Up North - a rival shop in Victoria Street, Rachel visited the premises in March 2019 requesting an interview. Nick recognised her from Freddie Edwards and assumed she was just an employee there and although he told her that there were no positions available, he did let slip about their promotional flyers and a visit from the Weatherfield Gazette. In reality, Rachel had instructed one of her barbers, Andrea Abruzzi, to gain employment at Trim Up North and "tweak" the flyers, so instead of promoting a cut and shave for £10, they now read £1.
On their opening day, Ryan Connor was their first customer requesting his £1 cut and shave, and another Freddie Edwards employee, Blake Deeley, went to the shop posing as a client, accusing David of cutting his neck while giving him a wet shave. Gazette reporter Naila Badal arrived with Weatherfield County FC player Tommy Orpington in the midst of their argument and Blake was photographed clutching his "bleeding wound". Having also taken a selfie, Blake promised David that the picture would go viral, however Nick witnessed him getting into Rachel's car and soon came to the realisation that he and David had been set up.
Nick later found the vial of fake blood used by Blake, proving David's innocence.
