Freda Todd (née Lumley) was the daughter of Bertha Lumley, Albert Tatlock's bingo partner in July 1976. After finding out that Bertha had gone off with Albert after meeting him at the bingo, Freda called on the pair at 1 Coronation Street to fetch Bertha back home and warned Albert that Bertha's husband Nat had threatened to kill the next man Bertha picked up at the bingo. Albert was amazed as his intentions had been completely innocent.
