Frank Coda (born 14th May 1931 in London) appeared on Coronation Street between July and September 1961 as cafe owner Mario Bonarti.
His extensive acting CV spans almost five decades, with credits including roles in The Interrogator, No Hiding Place, Z Cars, Dixon of Dock Green, Danger Man, Budgie, Callan, The Sweeney, Hazell, Rumpole of the Bailey, Minder, The Gentle Touch, Duty Free, The Bill, Fresh Fields, Never the Twain, Only Fools and Horses, Ever Decreasing Circles, EastEnders and Maisie Raine.
Film roles include No Safety Ahead, Touch of Death, A Prize of Arms, Oh! What a Lovely War, Sweeney 2, The Final Conflict, Queen of Hearts and The Young Poisoner's Handbook.
On stage, he appeared in productions of Sam the Highest Jumper of Them All, Ned Kelly, Every Man in His Humour, Sparrers Can't Sing and Progress to the Park (all with Joan Littlewood's Theatre Workshop) and further productions including Enrico, Twang!!, Applause and Robin Hood.
