Franck Dubosc (born 7th November 1963 in Le-Petit Quevilly, France) appeared on Coronation Street in both October 1987 and January 1988 as Patrice Podevin, the French lover of Jenny Bradley.
After leaving university, Franck began his career making films and graduated to acting thereafter. After acting, he turned to comedy in 1997 appearing in stand-up in both his native country and in Canada, having a successful one-man show Du beau, du bon, Duboscion in 1998. In 2002, he both wrote and appeared in the film Camping. Another one-man autobiographical show Il était une fois... Franck Dubosc was presented in 2008 which ended with its final performance being presented live on French television. He continues to both write and appear in feature films, including the sequels Camping 2 and Camping 3 following in 2010 and 2016 respectively.
