Frances Tomelty (born 6th October 1948 in Belfast) appeared on Coronation Street between December 1972 and January 1973 as Christine Peters, the young woman who snatched baby Jason Lomax from his pram outside the Rovers.

She was married to singer and actor Gordon "Sting" Summers from 1976 to 1984.
