Hi all,
I have created a WIP page for Weatherfield General - List of Appearances. It still has some formatting that needs fixing.
It currently cites every single episode page from 1967-2024 that contains a link to Weatherfield General, however I am aware that a small fraction of those episode pages will only be mentioning that hospital in the plot description without it actually appearing in the episode's list of places. I'm hoping to check the episode pages one by one now I have them all in an easily accessible place, but if anyone wants to pitch in and help with that I'd appreciate if you can leave a note on this thread to say which episodes you have removed from the list.
Also, as an unnamed hospital appeared on occasion in the 1960s, and for many years "the infirmary" is also visited, I am wondering whether or not those should be classed as appearances of Weatherfield General? For the time being I have not included them. I would appreciate any help in locating all the episodes where the unnamed hospital and infirmary appear.

If something is unnamed or unstated, then we make no assumptions whatsoever. To do so is not being factual. No "fan retconning" allowed here! I think there is a link given somewhere between the stated Infirmary and the General - I'll try and remember where that came from. As for help, but sorry it's a no from me. I'm currently gathering data for No.3's list of appearances (in an excel spreadsheet where I work before publishing) and I slog on alone as we all do on our projects, with no time for other stuff. Hi Jtomlin,
Thanks for letting me know not to make an assumption, I figured that the unnamed hospital should be kept separate but I wanted to double check. If there is a link between the Infirmary and Weatherfield General I'd be interested to know. Until then, I'll keep instances of the Infirmary separate.
Also, no worries about not being able to help with any of this. I wasn't expecting people to do my research for me, I just was trying to make it clear that I don't mind if anyone else also gets involved in the same pages as me. Sorry if I came across as demanding when I wanted to be inclusive.
I'll keep this thread updated as I improve the page Weatherfield General - List of Appearances.
