Hi all,
Just a suggestion in regards to a new page that could be linked to several others. On the backlot at MediaCity is the area immediately behind Victoria Street, beside the police station facade. In the past ITV documents have referred to this as "Kitchener Street" though to the best of my knowledge this hasn't ever been used on screen. Production documents refer to it as "NON-SPEC STREET" and as a result it has been used countless times over the years, not only as the rear of Roys Rolls but also as Nathan Curtis's tanning salon, the Six Fellas pizza shop where Stephen Reid has been working and the Spirit of the Night nightclub where Amy Barlow was spiked earlier in the year. It was also where Adam Barlow went to investigate Jeremy Bremner, the garage Seb Franklin went to on the night of his attack etc. I thought it could be beneficial to create an article for the "Non-spec[ific] street" that we could then link as "Street in Weatherfield" on individual episode pages and then keep record of when this area has been used.
See below image for reference.

Note - it's worth adding that in Episode 10485 (17th November 2021), we see both Oldroyd Street (which is on the opposite side of the wall to the Non-spec street) and the N-SS itself. BlancheHunt (talk) 15:45, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
Popping back into here to say I've created a page for the Non-specific street as feel it is of some interest to show how an area of the set is specifically redressed to appear as being off-site. Feel free to remove if felt inappropriate. It could also be linked in the locations of each respective episode page if needed. BlancheHunt (talk) 23:58, 6 December 2022 (UTC)
- That is a great idea and a valuable addition to the site - thank you!!!Jtomlin1uk (talk) 07:50, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
