Liz Stooke appeared in Coronation Street in two roles: in September 1989 as Department of Employment official Mrs Barber who assisted the staff from Baldwin's Casuals when the factory was demolished without them receiving redundancy pay; and, in January 1992 as Miss Cassidy, who represented Steve McDonald when he was charged with handling stolen goods.
She's also appeared in First Among Equals, Floodtide, Children's Ward , Watching, Heartbeat, Casualty, Last of the Summer Wine, Emmerdale and a regular role in Hollyoaks.
In the cinema, she appeared as a reporter in the 1988 film The Fruit Machine while on stage she was in The Government Inspector.
For radio, she was heard in The Doctors and Inside Mr Enderby.
