Lou Lou was the pet poodle of Thelma Clegg, who was a client of Sutherland's Kennels in January 2005.
Kirk Sutherland enlisted his friend Les Battersby-Brown to walk Lou Lou. A reluctant Les agreed and turned up at Thelma's house but was mistaken as an intruder by Lou Lou who then chased him up the stairs and pinned Les against the wall. A startled Thelma arrived home and her boyfriend Grant Peters punched Les out after mistaking him for her lover.
