John Kendall Pickles (born 25th February 1930 in North Bierley, Yorkshire; died 20th March 1997 in Turton, Bolton) was an actor who was identified by Daran Little in his 1995 book The Coronation Street Story as, along with Brenda Elder, holding the-then record for the most roles played on Coronation Street with eight each. Mr Pickles played a further role in 1995 itself.

In addition to these roles, Mr Pickles appeared in numerous programmes from the 1960s to the 1990s, among them being ITV Play of the Week, Z Cars, An Enemy of the State, Redcap, Raffles, Crown Court, Strangers, The Bill, Brass, All Creatures Great and Small, Watching, Emmerdale, Medics, Cracker, In Suspicious Circumstances, Dangerfield, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates and Daziel and Pascoe. On film, he appeared in In the Name of the Father. Stage roles include parts in Sailor, Beware!, The Witch of Edmonton, Eastward Ho!, All in Good Time, The Ghost Train, The Caretaker, The Merry-Go-Round, Don Juan, Don Carlos and Saturday Night at the Crown.
