Plot[]
Part One: Kevin stirs from a night on the sofa to find Abi standing in the living room. Hashim talks Zeedan through the money laundering scheme. Zeedan doesn't like deceiving his family but realises he has no other choice. Abi confirms that she's come home but is cagey about where she's been, only telling Kevin that she needed to clear her head after the verdict. She assures him that the £2,000 she took from their account wasn't for drugs. As Kevin hugs her, Abi asks him to call the police and tell them she isn't missing. Toyah and Imran are asked by Social Services to foster a four-year-old named Elsie. Sam tells Natasha how much he loves living in Weatherfield. Sabeen continues to blackmail Imran, demanding that he find out if Rita knows where Sharon is. Debbie struggles to be happy for Kevin and doesn't trust Abi.
Part Two: Jenny tells Daisy that she's enjoying her freedom and is done with relationships. Leo interrupts them as he calls at the Rovers with a bunch of flowers. Imran confides in Adam that he slept with someone else, and Sabeen knows. Adam advises him to do everything he can to make his relationship with Toyah work. Daisy plays hard to get with Leo. Once Daisy has left, Leo reveals that he overheard what Jenny said and tells her it's a shame. Jenny's amused, assuming that he's using her to get to Daisy. Natasha considers buying the closed salon so that Sam can be closer to Nick. Turning on the charm, Dev offers to help her navigate the business world, only to be informed that she already owns three salons, including one in London. Jack is thrilled when Kevin tells him that Abi is back. Kevin is keen to get the wedding back on track. Abi, supposedly seeing Sally, meets with Tez and takes delivery of a handgun, telling her ex that she plans to blast Corey's brains out of his skull.

- Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this episode was made with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew. Exceptions were occasionally made for instances in which characters were required to be in close contact. These were made in accordance with the rules by employing measures such as more frequent testing and cast members bubbling up together prior to recording.
- The scene where Tez Wyatt delivers a handgun to Abi Franklin was recorded in Fraser Place, Trafford Park, close to the MediaCity studios.
