Brewery Lane is a short thoroughfare at the north of Victoria Street in Weatherfield, leading to Viaduct Street. The lane is gated at one side for access to the former Nuttall's Brewery, whilst the service yard at the rear of underwear factory Underworld can be accessed from Viaduct Street.

Originally forming the northern part of Victoria Street, the lane ran westwards to form a T-junction with the end of Rosamund Street and continuing. Hardcastle's Mill fronted onto this portion of Victoria Street, the rear part of which overlooked Coronation Street until 1968 when Weatherfield Council had it demolished to make way for new maisonettes. The maisonnettes were demolished in the early 1970s after an electrical fault was discovered after their construction, which had resulted in the tragic death of Valerie Barlow. The Mark Brittain Warehouse and a Community Centre was built in their place though both faced onto Coronation Street. The warehouse was badly damaged in a fire in 1975 which also led to the death of Edna Gee. The block was redeveloped once again in 1989 and now comprises a mixed use development of town houses, retail units, including Audrey's hair salon and The Kabin newsagent and flats and industrial units comprising Websters' Auto Centre and factory unit Underworld. That development saw the blocking off of the easternmost end of Victoria Street to form Brewery Lane at its junction with Viaduct Street so the street now stops short at Rosamund Street with the exception of the Street Cars taxi office which is located behind Audrey's.

Since the closure of the brewery, the lane is a mixed use development, often used by Weatherfield residents as an events space. In December 2019, Michael Bailey organised the Weatherfield Winter Wonderland and in October 2021, Debbie Webster planned a Horror Nation Street Halloween event on Brewery Lane. Both events were badly marred, the Wonderland by a crazed Derek Milligan running riot with a shotgun seeking revenge on Gary Windass, and the Halloween event by awful weather conditions and treacherous sinkholes opening up in the area, forcing an evacuation.

A ginnel runs between Brewery Lane and the back gardens to No. 4, 6 and 8 Coronation Street. It was here in June 2021 that Robbie, an associate of Harvey Gaskell and Sharon Bentley, chased and cornered Gary Windass with an aimed pistol. Robbie's attempts to harm Gary were unsuccessful as he was overheard by young Sam Blakeman, who knocked him out using his telescope case.
