The unnamed Father in Hospital waited patiently in Weatherfield General for the birth of his seventh child along with Ray Langton who was as still as a cat on hot bricks while he waited for the delivery of his first, Tracy Langton. The father happily completed a newspaper crossword, claiming he had educated himself by this pastime over the years. He did scare Ray though with the news that his first child had taken forty-eight hours to arrive!
