The Factory Owner presided over Atherton Furnishings where Caz Hammond was employed for a period in the autumn of 2016. She was essentially in hiding having set up Maria Connor on a charge of murdering her after she had spurned her advances. Aidan Connor had a business meeting near to the premises and caught sight of Caz when she arrived for work. He gained access to the factory under the guise of a health and safety visit, much to the disgruntlement of the owner who complained that he was just trying to turn over a profit. As Aidan stood on the factory floor asking him questions about the workforce, Caz caught sight of him and made a dash for the fire escape. Aidan gave chase but she was able to evade him.
The owner was livid at Aidan's deception and threatened the police but Aidan had already contacted DS MacKinnon himself. As Aidan had also admitted that the H&S card he had previously displayed was in fact his gym card, the exasperated owner wasn't willing to easily believe that MacKinnon's warrant card was genuine. She demanded Aidan leave the enquiry to the police and forced him to leave.
