The Facilitator conducted a restorative justice session in June 2014 between Gail McIntyre and burglar Michael Rodwell, who had attempted to rob her house earlier in the year. He introduced the purpose of the meeting and then asked Gail to begin with her first question. After that, he had little to do. The conversation flowed well with Gail making Michael fully aware of the effect that his actions had had on her and her family while Michael was able to give her an understanding of the problems in his past life that had led to his descent into crime.
