Esther Marie J. Coles (born March 1968 in Nottingham) appeared on Coronation Street in October 1992 as Gemma, a friend of Raquel Wolstenhulme.
She graduated from RADA in 1990.
Perhaps best known for her role of Kim Beardsmore in Peak Practice from 1993 to 1999, her other credits include Always and Everyone, Doctors, EastEnders, Tittybangbang, Great Night Out, The Syndicate, Nurse and Ricky Zoom, along with the films Second Best, Cheeky, Sixty Six, Lucy Island, On Chesil Beach, Emma and Enola Holmes.
On stage, she appeared in productions of Hindle Wakes, The Bacchae, Mortality, The London Cuckolds, Kasimir and Karoline, The Nap, The Girlfriend Experience, Billy Liar and Dusty.
