Plot[]
Part One: Everyone agrees that Liz wants her head testing for taking Tony back. Michelle tells her that she and Steve won't work under him. Eva takes Simon to task when he is sarky with Leanne. The Connors celebrate Kate's birthday. Liz reminds Eileen of her last few disastrous relationships when Eileen tries to talk sense into her.
Part Two: Steph notices that Luke has been down lately and arranges with Andy to take him out to cheer him up. Sophie joins them. Nessa talks Ken into wearing jeans for the first time. Kate tells Eva that Aidan likes her and they'd be cute together. Simon skives off school and invites his mates over to the flat to play computer games. Tony presents Liz with a signed contract, handing over his half of the Rovers. Kate takes the blame for Kirk when he mixes up an order. The school calls Leanne to tell her Simon isn't there. Jamie makes Luke cancel his plans with Steph to take part in a practice race. Kate is thrilled when her fiancée Caz Hammond arrives in a taxi, Aidan and Carla having arranged the visit as a birthday present. Michelle gets a message from Liz asking to see her. Leanne finds Simon and his mates lounging around in the flat. Liz gets confirmation from her solicitor that she is now the sole owner of the Rovers. Tony stuns Liz by proposing to her. Michelle walks in before Liz has a chance to answer him and assumes she's accepted.
