Plot
Jim Foster, the bus driver who hit Ida, wants to see Frank because he can't sleep. Valerie reveals her parents need her in Glasgow. Ken gets an interview at Amalgamated Steel. Dennis prefers Walter Fletcher to Bill. Florrie worries about the new supermarket in Rosamund Street; her regulars test out the supermarket prices. The manager, Mr. Jackson has a run-in with Ena who finds it too 'new'. Ivan decides he shall be naturalised and thinks of changing his name. Foster tells Frank there was nothing he could do.
