Plot[]
Part One: Eric and Dot Sutherland give Kirk and Beth tickets to Cyprus as a wedding present. Beth is less thrilled to hear they'll be staying with Kirk's parents at their donkey sanctuary. Liz loses it with Steve when she finds him playing with a Rubik's cube without a care in the world and orders him into the bar. Luke goes into the Rovers at Kirk's insistence. A drunken Julie sees Arlene flirting with Dev and marks her card. Beth tells Sophie and Maddie their Madonna outfits are from March 1990. Maria is livid when she sees Luke in the Rovers and refuses to introduce him to her parents. Beth makes Kirk promise to let her have the last chocolate in the box (among other things) and they have their first dance.
Part Two: Sean has given up on Billy when he arrives, having been held up at work. Julie apologises to Dev for showing him up and catches the bouquet. Michelle enjoys her date with Hamish. Having no one else to turn to, Liz asks Michelle for help in getting through to Steve. Michelle refuses to put her life on hold for him. Liz tells Steve he'll have to come to Spain with her. She's surprised when he agrees without protest and tells Tony she no longer recognises her son. Tyrone lends the newlyweds his car for the night, with Sinead chauffeuring them to Cholmondley Manor Park Hotel, where Carla has booked them the bridal suite.
