Plot[]
Part One: Liz continues to get at Steve over his strange behaviour and warns him that he'd better start pulling his weight. Gail supports Michael's decision not to tell Gavin about his heart condition right away. Dev warns Dominic Saul that Julie is man-mad and sleeps with her nine cats. Sophie is appalled by his tactics. Gavin lies to Michael that he has a burst pipe in his flat to stop him from coming over. Michael thinks he's blown it when Gavin loses his patience and tells him to leave him alone. In his flat, Gavin worries about unpaid bills. Lloyd tries to talk sense into Steve. He thinks he's got through to him when Steve announces he's going to sort things out, although he's actually referring to his car.
Part Two: Tyrone tells Steve the cost of repairs is more than the car is worth. Steve tells him to go ahead with the work regardless. Liz rearranges the rota to put Michelle and Steve together. Craig shows Norris how to download an astronomy app. Norris is fascinated by his new hobby. Gavin apologises to Michael for snapping at him and pretends he has to settle a huge plumber's bill. Michael gives him £100. Michelle is upset when Steve is polite to her at work and walks away when she tries to draw him into a conversation. Tracy has a go at Michelle for hounding her over the money she owes her. Liz is surprised when Tony defends Tracy. Steve's unfeeling attitude gets to Michelle.
