Plot[]
Part One: Luke offers to escort Audrey on her first drive since the accident. She insists she's not afraid but goes along with it, much to Maria's amusement. Peter's questioning concludes with his recollection of telling Carla about the affair and then seeing Tina being taken into an ambulance. He says he had tried repeatedly to convince Tina to stay away from him but he could never have killed her as it's not in him. Tony and Liz each think the other is being stubborn and await their apology. The cafe is untouched but Roy's flat has been ransacked.
Part Two: Roy believes the teenagers from this morning are responsible as it's too senseless to be anyone else. He's upset to find his photo album destroyed and clutches Hayley's ashes. Audrey returns after having lunch in Cheshire with Luke, and has even arranged to go out again. Anna cleans the flat and Jason puts in a new lock but Roy still feels vulnerable and barricades the door. The prosecution and defence close their cases. The judge reminds the jury that the trial isn't about Peter's infidelities. The jury retires to consider its verdict.
