Plot[]

The day of Max's psychiatric assessment gets off to a bad start when David and Kylie oversleep. Determined to present a healthy family environment to the psychiatrist, Kylie frantically gets the house in order. With Peter critical, the Barlows prepare for the worst. Fiz orders Tyrone to get Tony to increase his offer of compensation as £1,000 doesn't cover his loss of earnings. Rob decides not to tell Carla about Peter as she's doing so well without him. Steph admits to Katy that she finds the idea of her brother and best friend getting together weird. Carla finds out about Peter when Beth gossips about him. Jason and Tony start the loft repairs and make Todd help them. Tony keeps running him down. Ken and Tracy visit Peter. Tracy is intrigued to learn that Jim found him. Rob advises Carla against getting sucked back into Peter's world. She is stunned to hear he might not make it. Peter awakens in hospital long enough to ask for Carla. Katy breaks up with Luke because of Steph. Tracy goes to a wedding fayre, leaving Rob alone with Peter. Ken pleads with Carla to visit Peter, fearing he's losing the will to live. She refuses. As Tyrone hasn't mentioned anything, Fiz asks for more money from Tony. He agrees to look into it. A stressed Kylie is in the middle of slagging off Michael when David walks in with the specialist nurse, Amanda Dewhurst. Carla books a foreign holiday for as soon as possible. Peter starts having convulsions.
