Plot
Simon refuses to go to school again. Anna has received a letter summoning her and Faye to the police station after school that afternoon. Owen hopes that Faye will stop covering for Grace. Tina comes to see Simon and agrees to look after him again for the day. Liz suspects Steve of pulling a fast one with his college work and warns him that Michelle will have his guts for garters if he is. Sinead begins work at Underworld. As Carla enthuses about how good Tina is with Simon, Sally reckons she should would be jealous if she were in her position. Kirk is still off with Beth. Anna and Faye go to the police station - Grace is also there with her mother. Michelle is growing suspicious of Steve. Carla tells Hayley that she's wondering if Peter's bothered about the wedding. Faye comes clean about everything to PC Edwards. At the Rovers, Tina spends her time laughing with Peter, annoying Liz. Beth gets round Kirk by bothering to make his favourite meal. Hayley forces a reluctant Roy to discuss her funeral arrangements and says that she wants it to be a celebration of her life. Steve is on the phone to Andrea until Michelle interrupts him but he tells her it was someone else. Liz warns Tina that she is playing with fire with her flirtations with Peter but Tina denies there is anything in it.
