Plot[]
Tina's puzzled when Tommy changes his tune about Kirsty, thinking that Tyrone is well shut of her. Tommy invites Tyrone for a drink to take his mind off Kirsty and the baby. Tyrone agrees it will do him good. Gary, Izzy, Chesney and Katy set off for the clinic for a preliminary discussion about surrogacy. Katy assures Izzy that she still wants to go ahead. Sunita persuades Karl to take her to the Rovers tonight and show Stella that they are solid and not hiding away. Eileen's irked when Paul arranges to sleep on Gails's sofa again. Sunita asks Dev to mind the twins this evening, but he refuses, explaining that he has a date of his own. Sunita's miffed. Gail simpers over Paul, providing tea and biscuits for him. He's polite but just wants to get to sleep. Gary, Izzy, Chesney and Katy return from the clinic, slightly overwhelmed by what's involved. Gary dreads the counselling, while Katy's nervous of injections, but they remain determined to go ahead. Eileen offers her services to Kevin in the hope of finishing his DIY sooner. Surprised Kevin hands her some overalls and sets her to work with a floor sander. Chesney raises a concern about the cost of the IVF process. Gary's confident that they can manage to scrape by on their wages. When Paul wakes up, Gail tells him that she's arranged with Eileen to give him his tea. Karl and Sunita look on as Dev meets his date, Sam, in the Rovers. Dev recruits Tyrone to keep her friend Nikki occupied while he chats up Sam. Kirsty turns up in the pub and is upset to see Tyrone chatting away to Nikki. Kirsty hurries away with mortified Tyrone in pursuit.
