Plot[]
Sunita wants Karl to join her on an outing with the kids, but he demurs on the pretext of needing to look for a job. Anna suspects Mary has designs on Roy as he prepares for the concert in Malvern. Steve takes Amy to her soccer school at the Red Rec. Sickly Tracy asks him to collect her afterwards, but he refuses and tells Tracy to do it herself. Tina calls on Tyrone and apologises for her insensitivity yesterday. She suggests that Kirsty may yet return but Tyrone's resigned. Tracy explains her symptoms to Deirdre but Ken's sceptical about her illness and denounces her as lazy. Kevin informs Chesney that his van is a write-off. Tyrone announces to Tommy, Kevin and Julie that Kirsty has left him and won't be coming back. He rejects their sympathy and storms off. Karl half-heartedly asks Steve for his job back at Street Cars but Steve refuses. Karl asks him to make sure that Sunita knows he's been job-hunting. As Hayley waves Roy off, Anna takes Mary to one side and tells her to remember that Roy's a happily married man. Mary is offended by the insinuation. Michelle brings Amy to Street Cars and tells Steve that she found her walking home from the Red Rec by herself. Steve's furious with Tracy for not turning up. Tracy tells Steve she felt lousy and accidentally fell asleep but Steve's disbelieving. Chesney can't believe his eyes when he sees his van being towed away. He shouts at Tyrone for not seeking his approval, but Tyrone's in no mood to take prisoners. Ken, Deirdre and Amy return to No.1 to find Tracy lying unconscious on the floor.
