Plot[]
Stella confronts Eva about Leanne's birthday card. Eva admits that she threw it away saying she was just trying to protect Stella from getting hurt. Stella's sceptical. Lloyd tells Karl about Chris's illness and how Cheryl wants him to move in with them at No.13. Karl reckons that Lloyd should capitulate as Chris is a dying man. Chris and Cheryl break the news to Russ about Chris's brain tumour. Russ is devastated. Frank clocks the frosty atmosphere between Peter, Leanne and Carla in the Rovers and wants to know what's going on. Leanne asks Eva why she's so hostile towards her but Eva just tells her to stay out of her way. When David tells Gail he's going on a management course, Gail's horrified realising that she and Kylie will only have each other for company. Brian and Julie go for dinner at the bistro. Julie gets horribly drunk and accuses Brian of flirting with Eva. Brian's embarrassed and Julie stumbles home alone. Lloyd has a word with Chris and insists he moves in with them until he finishes his treatment. Carla tells Frank that she was in love with Peter but it's all in the past now. Frank's appeased and Carla feels guilty for feeding him half-truths. Cheryl's grateful to Lloyd for allowing Chris to move in. Cheryl, Chris and Russ play happy families whilst Lloyd feels like a spare part in his own home.
