Plot[]
Steve storms round to No.1 and tears a strip off Tracy accusing her of spitefully telling Becky that they'd slept together. Tracy denies all knowledge but Steve assumes she's lying. "Marcia" makes his fundraising speech for the Cross Wires charity. Audrey's very proud of Marc and suggests they go for a nightcap afterwards. Amber, Tommy and Tyrone arrange to go clubbing. Dev embarrasses Amber by trying to insist she's home by midnight. Amber ignores him. Ken and Deirdre arrive home to find Tracy in tears. Tracy explains how Steve misguidedly thinks she spilled the beans to Becky. Deirdre's mortified and tells her how it was Amy who told him and she confirmed it. Audrey and "Marcia" go for a drink in an ordinary bar where they're laughed and sneered at by a couple of businessmen. Audrey's furious and, giving them a piece of mind, she chucks a couple of glasses of red wine in their faces. Ken and Deirdre are preparing for bed when Tracy announces that she and Amy are leaving for London and may never come back. Owen, Anna and Faye return from a lovely evening at the cinema. Owen's about to kiss Anna when the moment is broken by Faye. Owen leaves and Faye tells Anna that it's obvious he fancies her. Anna's quietly thrilled. Deirdre rushes into Street Cars in her dressing gown and tells Steve how, because of his wrongly accusing Tracy, she's now doing a moonlight flit to London with Amy. Steve races after Tracy's taxi, desperate to stop her taking Amy, but he's too late.
