Plot[]

Part One: Tracy is served with a Prohibited Steps Order and storms round to the Rovers to have it out with Steve. He tells her that he wants more access to Amy, and she has no choice but to agree. Becky is delighted as they plan a family day out. Fiz admits to a sympathetic Chesney, Maria and Kirk that she was totally taken in by John and wishes she'd listened to Sally and Rosie's warnings. David arranges a visit by the Roberta Kite, the social worker. Chesney counsels Fiz to be careful what she says to the police. Kylie confesses all to the social worker, saying Becky was obsessed with Max from the moment she saw him. DC Redfern interviews Fiz and Chesney at home. Fiz is sparing with the truth with him. Graeme sneaks back to the flat when he thinks Xin has gone out to collect some clothes but she returns and insists they talk. Becky enjoys sacking Tracy but is taken aback when the social worker visits to say that Kylie has made some serious allegations.

Part Two: Xin tells Graeme that they have a connection, and she has no regrets about having sex with him, but Graeme reluctantly says he wants a divorce. Roberta tells Steve and Becky about Kylie's allegations, including the payment of £25,000, and that Kylie isn't allowed to see her son. Their discussion is interrupted by the arrival of Roberta's colleague Miriam who remembers well Becky claiming that she was Kylie. Steve realises have no choice but to come clean. Fiz tells Redfern that the first she knew of any of John's wrongdoing was when she followed him to the Hoyles' house. Becky and Steve counters Kylie's accusations by telling the social workers of her blackmail attempt. Roberta explains to a totally distraught Becky that as they've broken the terms agreed by the court and Max has to be taken into care immediately. Steve tries to comfort his wife as she breaks down. Graeme is upset as Xin tells him she's moving to Edinburgh. Becky gathers herself to say goodbye to Max. Fiz can't find John's passport for Redfern. He advises Fiz to keep all windows and doors tightly locked whilst John is on the loose. Steve takes Max out to the waiting car. Kylie and David watch from across the street. With Fiz asleep, John emerges from the attic at No.5 where he's been hiding. He stands by baby Hope's cot and watches over her.
