Plot[]
Norris runs into an angry Lloyd. He's still seething about Steve's secret plans but gives nothing away. Liz is angry about Jim's attempt to rob a building society. Chesney and Katy are finding it difficult to pay the bills. Katy says that she'll get a part-time job. Tracy confronts Becky. She's angry about Jim's foiled plot. Lloyd is hurt by Steve's plan to leave him in the lurch. Liz and Steve rue the pressure they put on Jim. Owen is angry at Katy's nonchalance towards her education. She's adamant that she's going to get a job. Kevin tells Sally that he's not taking the car back. Liz visits Jim in prison. She promises to wait for him. Tracy and Frank rile Maria in the Rovers and Carla is left to defuse the situation. Liz grows increasingly upset as her commitment dawns on her. Maria is determined to persevere and throws herself into work at the factory. Kevin's gutted when he finds out that Sally has sold the car he bought her. Liz is downbeat after a tough shift in the Rovers. Frank spooks Maria when she leaves the factory. Liz reminisces about her time at the Rovers and resolves to leave the street in a midnight flit.
