Plot[]
Part One: Dev's full of apologies but Sunita demands to see the business accounts for herself. Eddie and Anna are struggling to make headway with Faye who's unresponsive to their attempts to bond with her. Dev explains how his other five shops are faring badly. Sunita quietly decrees that the only way to stay afloat is to sell them, keeping only the corner shop in Coronation Street and Prima Doner. Dev knows she's right but is heartbroken at the prospect of losing his empire. Faye only wants to watch TV and won't eat anything. Anna refuses to allow Eddie to escape the atmosphere to the Rovers. Audrey and Gail try to persuade Nick not to leave Weatherfield. Steve, Becky, Lloyd and Cheryl prepare to set off for the casino. Tracy watches on jealously. Dev asks Steve for an urgent word before he goes. Julie returns to No.9 with a home-cooked meal and some wine to share with Tyrone. He hasn't the energy to decline and lets her stay. Dev advises Steve of his predicament. Hearing how the clearing of the safe wiped him out, Steve's guilty when Dev asks for £5,000 to help tide him over. Steve confesses he's also in dire financial straits and is unable to help.
Part Two: As Becky and Cheryl play roulette, Steve and Lloyd decide to sit at the blackjack tables. Gary and Izzy call round to meet Faye. Anna's relieved when Faye perks up in their company. Sunita finds a disconsolate Dev in the Rovers. Nick decides to stay and make a success of The Joinery. Tracy is unimpressed by the news. Cheryl, Becky and Lloyd lose all their chips, but Steve enjoys a good run on blackjack and wins £5,000. Tyrone and Julie knock back the wine. A happy Faye begs Gary and Izzy to stay for a meal. Returning to the pub, Steve orders Becky to stay quiet about their winnings. Julie applies feng shui to Tyrone's back room. A sobbing Tyrone pours his heart out about how he can't bring himself to hate Molly and he still loves her. Julie comforts him. Steve tells Lloyd he cannot start repaying Street Cars from his winnings as he wants to give the money to Dev. Steve takes a deep breath and admits that Becky stole from the Alahans' safe and this is his chance to make amends. Lloyd's shocked.
