Plot

Dev's full of apologies but Sunita demands to see the business accounts for herself. Eddie and Anna are struggling to make headway with Faye, who only wants to watch TV and refuses to eat anything. Dev explains how his other five shops are faring badly. Sunita decrees that the only way to stay afloat is to sell them, keeping only the corner shop in Coronation Street and Prima Doner. Dev knows she's right but is heartbroken at the prospect of losing his empire. Audrey and Gail persuade Nick not to leave Weatherfield. He decides to stay and make a success of The Joinery. Tracy is unimpressed by the news. Julie returns to No.9 with a home-cooked meal and some wine to share with Tyrone. He hasn't the energy to decline and lets her stay. Dev advises Steve of his predicament. Steve's guilty when Dev asks for £5,000 to help tide him over. Steve confesses he's also in dire financial straits and is unable to help. Dev's disconsolate. Gary and Izzy call round to meet Faye. Anna's relieved when Faye perks up in their company and asks them to stay for the evening. Steve, Becky, Lloyd and Cheryl go to the casino. Steve enjoys a good run on blackjack and wins thousands. Tyrone and Julie knock back wine. Tyrone pours his heart out about how he can't bring himself to hate Molly and he still loves her. Julie comforts him. Steve tells Lloyd he cannot start repaying Street Cars from his winnings. Lloyd's outraged when Steve says he wants to give the money to Dev. Steve takes a deep breath and admits that Becky stole from the Alahans' safe and this is his chance to make amends. Lloyd's shocked.
