Plot[]
Part One: Ken, Deirdre and Simon are ecstatic when Peter and Leanne when they announce that they are back together. Leanne thanks Ken and Deirdre for accepting her and reconciling them. Steve's disappointed when the bank refuses him the full sum of a loan that he had requested. He's now got enough only to pay off his credit cards and Owen's bills. Chesney's put out as Gary advertises himself as a van driver, but using his van when it's idle. Anna asks Roy for an early finish as they are having Faye visit for her first overnight visit. Janice enjoys letting Nick know that Leanne has returned to Peter. Encouraged by Becky, Sunita bravely enters the corner shop for the first time since the crash. Finding it difficult to get over what happened to Molly, Dev and Becky tell her they have to move on. Becky feels guilty when Sunita mentions the stolen money. Julie feels sorry for Tyrone when she can see he's struggling with living alone. Owen requests further payment prior to completing the corner shop repairs. Sunita's suspicious when Dev stalls. Simon panics when Leanne is at the shops, thinking she's left again. Tired of the stalling, Owen gives Dev until the end of the day to pay him a cheque for the completed work or he will take back all of the shop fittings.
Part Two: On a pretext, Julie barges into No.9 with her dirty washing, asking to use Tyrone's machine and offering to take care of his housework at the same time. He's railroaded into agreeing. Cheryl invites Steve and a keen Becky to accompany her and Lloyd to a free night at the casino. Steve tells a displeased Lloyd that Street Cars will have to wait while he pays off his other debts first. Nick watches on as Leanne, Peter and Simon set off to Cyprus. Eddie bakes a cake to welcome Faye. Sunita confronts Dev with their bank statements which shows they have no savings. He's forced to confess that the shop wasn't insured. Nick thinks of leaving Weatherfield as there's nothing left for him. Audrey tells him not to be so downhearted. Faye arrives and Hilary tells Anna not to expect much as she's had so many knockbacks in her life. Faye is prickly straight away. Dev explains he's been funding the repair work using their savings, and he's behind on the rent for the other shops. Sunita's open-mouthed when Dev admits they could also lose their house.
