Plot[]

Part One: Roy and Hayley are shocked to hear from Fiz about John, but also pleased about the good news concerning Hope. They offer to accompany her to the hospital later. Fiz asks Dr Carter if it would be possible to find out how John's getting on as she can't find anything out. Lloyd and Cheryl continue to argue about Chris. Russ overhears them. Tracy is due to be released. Ken hopes she doesn't run amok seeking revenge. Eileen tells Owen that she needs to see him at lunchtime and it's in his best interests. Chesney opens the door to a man looking for Colin Fishwick. When Chesney tells him that Colin's not in, the man promises to return. Chris assures a questioning Maria that he no longer has feelings for Cheryl, but he just doesn't like Lloyd trying to replace him as Russ's father. She believes him. Gary gets a suspended sentence and now has to see his CO. Izzy hides what's going on from Anna. Becky finds out from a sneering Deirdre that Tracy is due back. Doctor Chadderton takes Hope off her ventilator and she starts to breathe by herself. Fiz is overcome. Eileen gives Owen a cheque for £10,000 now that Carla's own has cleared, and then she and Julie show him the copies of the documents proving his tax evasion and stealing from customers.

Part Two: Fiz is delighted with Hope's progress. Eileen sends Owen packing after he insults the two women. Chesney tells Fiz about the man looking for Colin. Tracy arrives home and vows to find Claire and get her revenge on her. Fiz appeases her brother by explaining how Colin had been stalking John and sending hate mail. From the yard, Tracy overhears Becky on the phone to Claire and angrily demands to know where she is. Becky refuses to tell her and enjoys revealing how many of the locals chipped in to help Claire make her getaway as a thank you to her for beating up Tracy. Cheryl has to assure a worrying Russ when he asks if his dad is going to prison. Fiz and Chesney panic when there is a knock at the door, only to find it's Roy and Hayley. Fiz receives a call from the hospital saying that Hope's taken a turn for the worse and is back on the ventilator. Gary finds out from his CO that he's not welcome back in the army. He's devastated.
