Plot[]
Part One: A drunken Janice returns from the airport. She interrupts Billy leaving her flat after burgling it and is pushed to the ground. Hayley hears her cries and rushes to help her. Peter promises Simon that he won't drink again, and also makes his son promise he won't tell Leanne about it. An angry Gary won't join Anna and Eddie at their table in the Rovers. He suggests to David they should head into town. Izzy reckons Gary's had enough to drink already but he ignores her advice and the lads leave. She's hurt. Peter and Leanne look after Janice, who the airport refused to let her on the plane in her inebriated state. Simon doesn't like to see her drunken rants. Michelle spends the evening talking business with Frank but she wishes she could be with Ciaran instead. With Jason and Rosie having gone to see a 3D film, Sean and Eileen make up. He's puzzled when he sees a roof repair quote, thinking she's got no money. Chris questions Russ what Lloyd is like. Eileen confesses to a shocked Sean that she's stolen £10,000 from Owen. Carla tells Owen that she's paid him the last of the money she owed him and he's got Eileen to thank for that as she did the chasing for a sum he'd forgotten about.
Part Two: Ciaran's fed up when Michelle phones and says her business meeting is going on longer than she'd expected. He points out it's his last night before he leaves for the ship. Owen calls round and thanks Eileen for chasing Carla for the £10,000. He offers to do the repairs to No.11 at a knock-down price with payment in instalments. She feels terrible. Sean keeps silent. Having been embarrassed by Janice, Leanne tells a guilty Peter how proud she is about him avoiding booze. Eileen promises Sean that she'll pay the money back into Owen's account and he'll be none the wiser. Chris is relieved to find out that Janice's description of her burglar could apply to most men. Michelle returns to the Rovers where Ciaran is in a sulk. They row as he's not happy with her schmoozing with clients and she's not happy about his job on a cruise ship. She walks out. Peter secretly phones Nick and tells him that he won't be wanting any more booze deliveries as he's going to clean up his act for good. Nick masks his disappointment. Gary and David get into an argument with the police after David cheeks them and Gary swings a punch at them. As they bundle him into their van, he flips, begging not to be put into the enclosed space. Anna wonders where her son went to with David. As the police bundle him into the cells he tries to calmly explain this could finish his army career, but the police aren't sympathetic. Michelle and Ciaran row again when he expresses his disappointment. When she refuses to back down, he finishes with her.

Notable dialogue[]
Sean Tully (asking about a 3D movie): "So go on, how was it?"
Jason Grimshaw: "Swear to God, Sean, I was nearly leaping out of my skin."
Sean Tully: "Rosie? You don't seem that impressed..."
Rosie Webster: "No, it was OK, it was just a bit dark."
Jason Grimshaw: "Well she never jumped once, nerves of steel this one."
Rosie Webster: "I just didn't think it was that scary."
Jason Grimshaw: "What, so it wasn't scary when the missile flew out the screen into our faces?"
Rosie Webster (not realising she had been wearing sunglasses rather than 3D glasses): "It didn't fly out that much. It was just dark and, well, a bit blurry."
