Plot[]
Part One: Seeing Kevin taking Jack to the childminder that he's found, Sally tips off Tyrone to get in first and open up the garage. Tracy's determined to find herself a man as she saw no action inside prison. Ken is disgusted with the tone of her conversation. Deirdre suggests Tracy should get a job. Kevin's shocked to find Tyrone at work. He offers to buy his share of the garage, but Tyrone suggests he sells to him. Tracy likes Deirdre's suggestion that she works in the bookies, thinking of being with Nick all day. Peter tries to veto the idea. Kevin won't sell his share of the partnership either, but Tyrone makes it clear he's not going to make life easy for him by disappearing. Gary apologises to Anna for shoving her but still demands his privacy from her, spending his day alone in the garden shed. Tracy visits the bookies and tells Nick they may soon be colleagues. Leanne fumes. Maria softens towards Chris when he offers to fix some shelves for her. Gail needs a job. Sally informs her that Carla's recruiting. Despite refusing the same suggestion from Deirdre, Tracy eavesdrops. Nick suspects Leanne of being jealous of Tracy's interest in him. Leanne denies it. Pushed by David, Gail approaches Carla about a job and is furious to learn that Tracy has gazumped her and snapped up the only vacancy to spite her. Tracy shoots Claire down when she accuses her of letting down the real victims of domestic violence. David resolves to get revenge on Tracy for his mum. Hating Tracy more than she has ever hated anyone else, Gail wishes him luck.
Part Two: Peter continues his recovery exercises, hating his wheelchair. Sally enjoys hearing from Tyrone about how he stood up to Kevin. Tracy tarts herself up for a night on the pull. Deirdre warns her to be careful due to her unpopularity. Nick gives John time off and Leanne suspects he might be creating space for them to be on their own. Peter surprises her by getting spruced up to take her out to dinner. David overhears Deirdre telling Ken that Tracy is on her own. David lets himself in the back door at No.1 and threatens her. She's unnerved. Eddie's angry when Anna reveals how Gary shoved her last week. David's wrong-footed when Tracy starts flirting with him and saying how much she fancies him. Eddie confronts Gary, who punches his father to the ground. Anna's horrified. Tracy begins to kiss David passionately as she leads him upstairs.
